Description
Jensukkudansen or Dance for St. John’s Eve are other titles for June Dance. These traditional melodies from Scandinavia honor the birthday of John the Baptist, which is commemorated in many countries six months before Christmas, starting at sunset on June 23rd. In this fun arrangement the traditional melodies repeat in canon form in each harp part. The performance time for June Dance is about three minutes. Uses some octaves and eighth notes.
