When I type something into the search engine and hit enter, it doesn’t come up with what I expect.  Our search engine is a bit different.  Here is a page that explains.

How do I buy a gift card for a friend? Our gift card page is HERE.  Select the picture of the gift card.  It will take you to another page where you can select the amount and to whom.  The card is then sent to your chosen recipient, and the website keeps track of the amounts subtracted from each purchase.

How do I order strings, it’s confusing  Ordering strings is confusing even for the seasoned harper/harpist.  We have a strings 101 page that may be really helpful.  We have also put images for each string by octave, which we think will help you find and choose the strings you need more efficiently.

Can you give me my order history from 10 years ago? Yes we are able to do that.  Please send us an email or call 281-890-4500.

Do you have a list of used harps in your shop?  All of our harps are listed on our HARPS PAGE.   At the present time as a result of the pandemic, it has been difficult to procure harps because so many people have taken the instrument back up again. Here at Melody’s we (usually) have a variety of harps available, both new and used. When ordering a harp, please call first. With all the different options and accessories, a phone conversation is essential. Please call before coming to the showroom to look at harps as our inventory varies from day to day. On occasion we have estate harps on the floor, and when that happens, we will make an announcement.

Do you have a lot of harps in your shop?  Currently we have very few harps.  This is due to the pandemic.  Many people took up a musical instrument and at one point we had no harps on the floor, not one.  Our selection changes quickly, please know that.

Do you restring and repair? John Gill, co-owner, is a superb woodworker and authorized Dusty Strings repair person. He also restrings harps. Please call the shop for his fees.

Do you offer harp lessons?  Mary Radspinner, co-owner, has a small studio of students. If you are interested, please text 346-332-1835 or email spinnerml@sbcglobal.net.  We provide a courtesy listing of harp teachers on our BLOG site. This listing was recently updated, but there may be old information, so please be aware of that.
