A trio for lever or pedal harps, this is a well-developed piece using many musical concepts. Harp I incorporates 16th notes, ties, and crossing over and under in the first section. The second section has the melody in octaves, encouraging good tone. Harp II utilizes parallel thirds in the first section and a countermelody in the upper register of the harp in the second section. Harp III is technically easy, but at the same time rhythmically challenging in the playing on the off-beat. This is a very satisfying piece in the key of D minor. EASY TO LOWER INTERMEDIATE ALL HARPS.
