Description
A delightful collection of original duets. There are seven in all, named after each day of the week. Harp I gives the inexperienced harpist easy music to play but satisfying to listen to and perform. The second harp (Harp II) can be considered the accompaniment. A third year student could manage Harp II, which is written for pedal harp, although most of the pieces are adaptable for lever harp. There are accidentals, and “Thursday” has an abrupt key change from C to A. Harp I may be played on lever or pedal harp. Teachers will find this collection well suited for ensemble playing, an activity which develops counting and listening skills in a manner that solo playing cannot do. Two copies of the book are included, both in easily readable score form. EASY TO INTERMEDIATE, ALL HARPS.
