Description
This arrangement of a late romantic piano duet captures the lively dance of a girl from Andalusia in Spain. Its syncopated melody and waltz-like accompaniment will delight audiences and performers alike. The arranger has added extra counterpoint and harmonies not in the original piece so that each harp has something special to contribute. Harp 1 (pedal) carries the melodic line with grace notes and some very quick passages containing triplets. Harp 2 (pedal) is mostly chordal waltz patterns split between the hands. Harp 3 (large lever) also has the waltz patterns along with counter-harmony eighth notes.
Both a full score and individual parts for each harp are included. The difficulty level is late intermediate, due mostly to the chromatic nature of several passages. The pedal and lever changes are left up to the discretion of the performers. Each harp part is 4 pages long. Key of E minor (1 sharp).
