Description
This one of Turlough O’Carolan’s most dignified slow airs. He composed it in honor of the Fourth Earl of Inchiquin, William O’Brien (1694-1777) at Drumoland Castle, County Clare. Arranged for either Lever or Pedal Harps in the key of D, the majestic melody is ornated with grace notes and turns. The melody is divided evenly between parts. Dynamics are clearly marked.
