Description
A traditional Scottish slow air of the Western Highlands with an uncertain history. Some historians say it existed in the 1600’s, others say it was written during the Battle of Sheriffmuir in 1715. This melody has been recorded numerous times under various names. The arrangement has the melody shared equally between the parts. Each part is of equal difficulty. Dynamics are clearly marked.
