Heitor Villa-Lobos (March 5, 1887 – November 17, 1959) was a brilliant and significant Brazilian composer, giving fame to South America’s music. Also a conductor, cellist, and classical guitarist. He wrote over 2000 works of music which were a result of his knowledge of Brazilian folk music and classical music. Specifically important guitar repertoire includes his Etudes for classical guitar (1929) and 5 Preludes.
Fairy Tales is a piano solo in 4 movements arranged for harp and flute by Maurice Draughn. The harp score is 12 pages and contains the flute part. Both parts are well edited, harp part contains pedal changes and PDLT. Below is a piano solo version (original version) of the Enchanted Palace (mmt 1) – we think you will enjoy this piece!
