An open sounding and delightful arrangement. the harp part is independent of the flute part. Playable on lever or pedal harp, and in the key of Eb. There are some unusual and very pleasing chords in this piece. Flute part contains the recognizable melody with a nicely altered rhythm. We have played through each of these arrangements using pedal and lever harp, and melodica, recorder and even humming. The arrangements are well done, with independence and interest in both parts. Any combination of treble instruments such as flute, violin or oboe would be suitable for this piece. Included are score and individual parts for flute and violin.
EARLY ADVANCED PEDAL HARP + FLUTE. Harp part arranged by Bernard Andres, flute part edited by Francois Bru. This sonata was originally written for solo flute, a basso continuo being later added by CPE Bach. The arrangement of the harp part was made by Bernard Andres, and has the merit of respecting the instrument's character, thus making this a true repertory work.
