Description
A beautiful song written by Lui Collins, a well known New England folk singer. The words and melody are uplifting and appropriate for performance in all arenas – for enjoyment, for yourself or for an audience. It is said of Collins that she blends her original songs, dynamic readings of her poetry, and traditional banjo tunes, in an intimate conversation with her audience. This is a wonderful example of her work. The harp part is by Barbara Wright. It is simple, and can be played on a harp of 26 strings. In the key of D, the piece has a very basic accompaniment. Nondenominational, essentially the words speak of being blessed and grateful for life. You will enjoy this one! Full score included with a pull-out voice part.
