Description
Spiced with triads and a few glissandi, this piece is in the key of C major with no accidentals. Some fingerings are written in. The recurrent eighth-note pattern changes to the key of A minor in the B section for a dramatic flare. Finally, the major theme returns, the sun has fully risen, and the LH has large (tenth), majestic chords to close the piece out. It is a good addition to an early intermediate student’s lesson repertoire or a seasoned performer’s background music. 4 pages of music. ALL HARPS, EARLY INTERMEDIATE/INTERMEDIATE.
