Description
This well-known symphony by Dvorak has been enjoyed around the world and even in outer space when Neil Armstrong took a recording to the moon during the Apollo 11 mission in 1969. Shari Pack’s arrangement includes several easy lever or pedal changes. The arrangement starts with the melody simply played against thirds and ends with it played above full rolled chords and arpeggio accompaniment patterns. The piece begins and ends in the Key of D. In the middle, it moves to a D minor section with grace notes going to the octave in various combinations. New World Theme takes about six minutes to perform. INTERMEDIATE, ALL HARPS.
