Description
The song begins in 3/4 time in A minor as the single line is passed between Harp 1 and Harp 2. When the melody repeats, Harp 3 ornaments with rolled chords, glissandos and harmonics.
The next section switches to 4/4 and is very rhythmic. Harp 1 has continuous eighth notes. Harp 2 states the melody in syncopated style, and Harp 3 has a secondary melodic line. Then Harp 2 takes the continuous eighth notes while 1 and 3 play melody in different octaves. It evolves into full sound in 1 and 2 with glissandos in 3.
Following a short grandiose section, the last phrase is soft and sparse in texture while Harps 1 and 3 play harmonics.
Harps 1 and 2 are upper intermediate level and Harp 3 is early intermediate level.
