Description
When Mr. Voltz teaches workshops, he often mentions the “ice cream cone position”, that is, a four-note chord with each note sitting on top of the other – like scoops of ice cream (place each finger on every other strings). He was inspired to compose a piece for harp that incorporates lots of ice cream cone positions, and he added to other jazz harp techniques: slap bass and touch damp. This piece is in the key of F with no lever or pedal changes.
