Description
This piece is one of three Reddy compositions which center around Homer’s story about the enchantress Circe. It features several special effects, oscillating patterns, and frequent meter changes. Two-handed triplet arpeggios/scales in colorful intervals also add to the feelings of mystery and wariness. Interestingly, both the harmonic minor scale and the double harmonic minor scale (alternatively known as Hungarian or Gypsy minor) appear. The latter has both 4th and 7th raised scale degrees. You will find it perfect for studio and recital use. ALL HARPS, LATE INTERMEDIATE/EARLY ADVANCED.
