Description
With the exception “Inisheer” (written in the 1970s), all the tunes in this collection are traditionally Irish. Audiences will delight with the familiar melodies and harpists will find them fun to play. Six of the pieces have a Harp II or Accompaniment part. Techniques include rolled chords, grace notes, thumb slides, harmonics, and etouffe. Fingerings and placements, and chord symbols are also included.
Ms. Witman has also printed the poems of Thomas Moore to shine understanding on how to interpret his music and use as lyrics for a sing-a-long, if so desired!
