Description
This arrangement of a Yorkshire carol uses open LH harmonies and a simple melody in a high register for the first verse. The second verse widens the tonal spectrum with low accompaniment and an ornamented melodic line. Subito dynamics and elaborate rolled chords bring the piece to a dramatic close. It is a good addition to a late beginner’s lesson repertoire or a seasoned performer’s background music. No accidentals. ALL HARPS, EARLY INTERMEDIATE/INTERMEDIATE.
