Imagine rays of sunshine bursting through clouds. Sparkling sunlight shining brightly…
This piece has been designed in duet form (not available as a solo). Both parts of this duet can be played on a lever or pedal harp.
Pure yellow — the most cheering of all colors — represents creativity and playfulness, while more subtle hues of yellow promote feelings of harmony and well-being.
Familiarize yourself with the sections (marked as A, B, C, etc.) so you can play the order
without hesitation. You can play ABBC or repeat the different sections as you desire.
Both parts of this duet can be played on a lever or pedal harp. Opening measures should be played with expression and the phrasing should not be rushed. At the end of measures 8, 54 and 101 be sure to play the gliss in tempo and with LH. Cues are written into Harp 1 parts. Harp 2 should sound like an electric bass guitar when playing the open LH slap bass. If a lever harp is playing Harp 2 omit the G# on measures 38-39 and 77-78 indicated by the ( ).
