Description
Appealing to everyone with their charming lilt and mix of familiar and new melodies, these flute and harp duets are delightfully diverse additions to any gig or concert (especially one around March 17th!). The harp parts feature arpeggios and rolled chords (intervals up to a tenth), clever counter-harmony lines, and original introductions and interludes that engage the audience. Flutists will enjoy parts that foray beyond the simple melodies of the first verses into improvisational passages and occasional harmony to the harp’s melody.
Each song has a cover page, full score, and individual scores for the flute and large lever (34+ strings) or pedal harp. All pieces are easy to intermediate for both instruments with few to no lever changes. 88 pages.
Please note that “Cuir Do Cheann Dileas” is also in the book International Folksong Duets.
