Description
Originals and arrangements of time-honored pieces for a 36-string folk harp without lever changes. These are pieces that Harper has recorded with the cross-strung. He adapted them to “get around” the accidentals so diatonic harp folks can enjoy playing them, too. Titles are: Dancing With Franz (a medley of two Schubert pieces plus an original waltz), Rosa das Rosas (medieval Spanish), Lady Dillon (Carolan, set as an early Baroque sonata, in two keys), The Summer Country (an original piece, a very poignant lament), October’s Rose (an original reel with quarter string harmonics), and The Surge of the Sea (a lush setting of a Scots Gaelic song). INTERMEDIATE LEVER HARP.
