Pedal: Love Theme from Cinema Paradiso by Ennio Morricone arranged for pedal harp by Stanley Guy
A really beautiful piece from one of Morricone’s top 10 movies for which he wrote the music. Among his other well known movies are “A Fistful of Dollars” and “The Good The Bad and The Ugly”. It is from a 1989 movie, told in flashback, about a man’s childhood friendship with an old man who was the projectionist at the local theater in Italy. There are some wonderful embellished jazz chords in this piece. Mr. Guy arranged this piece for lever harp a few years back, and we are fortunate now to have it for easy pedal harp. Pedal changes are clearly marked. 2 pages.
