Description
From the arranger:
“Celtic Music for the Lap Harp contains 23 airs, laments, slow marches and tunes from a variety of Celtic and Gaelic traditions. Among them are folksongs from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and Nova Scotia including waltzes, lullabies, pipe and tin whistle tunes. The arrangements are appropriate for a small lever harp with 20-22 strings and starting with G below middle C tuned in Eb or C. The songs are very accessible and appropriate for mid-beginner to intermediate players with limited or easy lever changes.”
Please note that “Skye Boat Song,” “Suo Gan,” and “Londonderry Air,” are also contained in the book Ethnic Folk Music.
