Description
This two-page arrangement of the old Irish tune Slane begins with a lovely and haunting introduction in a minor key. Mr. Barnwell uses unusual chords in this arrangement, setting it apart from all other versions of this beautiful melody that I have heard. It is an elegant rendition with varied harpistic chords and arpeggios. There are a few notes written on ledger lines that you’ll have to know (or figure out), and one passage with parallel 6ths in the right hand and 16th notes in the left hand that bears extra work. Key of Em/G without accidentals. Requires low E. INTERMEDIATE, ALL HARPS.
