Description
This set features the three beloved hymns “Be Thou My Vision,” “Wondrous Love,” and “All Through the Night,” suitable for pedal or full-size lever harp. The tunes are set in G (one sharp) and D Dorian (no sharps), and have no accidentals. The set comes both in lead sheet form and full harp versions for each hymn. Each piece begins simply, and moves into flowing and expressive arrangements that require a full reach, and knowledge of placing and crossing. A few fingerings are indicated. “Wondrous Love” features rich rolled tenths in the LH. There is much movement and mood change within “All Through the Night.” “ Be Thou” starts with unison octaves, then move into rolled chords and common LH patters such as 1-5-9-10.
