Description
Key of F, four pages filled with a beautiful melody supported by a flowing bassline that reaches to C two octaves below Middle C. There are tenths, seventh chords, harmonics, a dash of syncopation here and there, and, of course, glissandos. Doesn’t every audience expect them in a harp piece? The melody is repeated an octave up around measure 21 after some nice sixths and triads. There is also a lovely four-measure cadenza at the top of page four. All in all, a crowd pleaser.
