Description
”
What a grand way to welcome the morning! The four verses allows the famous melody to flow between the three instruments creating countermelodies and interesting harmonies.
This uplifting hymn is named for the Village on the Isle of Ross, Bunessan. There the Scottish folk melody was first used by Mary M. MacDonald in the 1800’s for a Christmas Carol. Since then many lyrics have been set to the melody.”
