Two Little Suites for a Musical Clock

ALL HARPS LOWER INTERMEDIATE TO INTERMEDIATE

All selections in this collection are by G. F. Handel (1685-1759) There are two suites included in this work, and each suite has a Menuet, a Gigue, and an Air variation. The First Suite is quite simple and includes running arpeggios in the prelude, no more than two notes per hand in the Menuet, and moving scales in the Air and Gigue variations. The Second Suite is more difficult than the first, and includes many running sixteenth notes in both hands. The Menuet and Gigue are great for intermediate players learning finger placement. There are no accidentals in any of these works, and each variation is one or two pages long.

Published in 1992, Schuman has written a preface explaining music boxes at the time of Handel.
