These short pieces have been adapted for lever harp by Maïté Etcheverry, a well known and well respected teacher of harp in France. She has an unassuming and humble personality, yet is a superb harpist and teacher. Her transcriptions are excellent. Lever changes are indicated by a small circled note. Techniques included in this book are: slurs, accidentals, glissandos and accents.
There are three Menuets which are delightful to play and if you’re playing these as background music are easily recognizable by anyone who has studied piano for a couple of years.
The final three pieces are Allegro, La tartine de buerre (2 pages)and Valse favorite (2 pages).
Upper intermediate lever harp or pedal harp – Valse favorite has one line which is written for both lever or pedal harp, due to the accidentals.
