Description
From the arranger:
“Renaissance Music for the Lap Harp contains 28 pieces of Renaissance music including madrigals, ballads, dances and occasional music from the 16th and 17th centuries from various European countries. Madrigals and Ballads come from vocal pieces, while occasional music is instrumental theme and variations from vocal songs. The dances are representational of court dances of the period. The arrangements are appropriate for a small lever harp with 20-22 strings and starting with G below middle C tuned in Eb or C. The songs are very accessible and appropriate for mid-beginner to intermediate players with limited or easy lever changes.”
