Description
From the arranger:
“Renaissance Dances for the Harp includes 21 dances from lute, vilhuela, and other instrumental consorts of the period. The dances are typically associated with the country from which they originated and were often paired into a slow dance followed by a faster dance. Most dances are court dances, but some were strictly for listening entertainment. The arrangements are appropriate for a large lever harp with 2 octaves below middle C and tuned to Eb or C. Songs in two tunings are noted with an * in Contents. The songs are very accessible and appropriate for mid-beginner to intermediate players with limited or easy lever changes.”
