Description
Very useful for church, funerals, and other worship settings. Besides the good repertoire, it contains two versions of each hymn. One version is really very simple – a skeleton arrangement with chords, playable on a 26-string harp.. Then, each title has a very different arrangement, two to three pages, and contains lush chords. The easy arrangement is not meant to be played along with the full arrangement but is provided for you to either learn as a starting point toward more difficult repertoire, or to use as a base for improvisation. Sight readable by the advanced harpist, the intermediate harpist may want to spend a few practice sessions on each title. Playable on both lever and pedal harp. The music is in the keys of C, G, D and F. The more advanced versions require an additional octave of strings than on a 25 string harp, and have a few more lever changes (accidentals.) INTERMEDIATE, ALL HARPS.
Titles: Let All Things Now Living, Count Your Blessings, The Love of God, All Things Bright and Beautiful, Amazing Grace, Blessed Assurance, It is Well with my Soul, Sweet Hour of Prayer, This is My Father’s World, Be Still my Soul.
