Description
John Field, a fine pianist, was a 19th century Irishman. He worked for the composer, Clementi, in a piano factory demonstrating pianos. When Clementi would tour, Field would accompany him. It is believed that while in Paris, Mr. Field played some of his own compositions, including the Nocturnes for Chopin. It is possible that Field’s Nocturnes were the inspiration for Chopin’s famous Nocturnes. There are three fairly chromatic pieces in this collection INTERMEDIATE PEDAL HARP
