Description
A collection of ragtime, blues and boogie-woogie arranged for beginning harpists. For the most part, these arrangements can be played on a 26-string lever harp with the lowest note being the C below middle C. There is one exception that I can see: measure 3 in “The Entertainer” but this can be easily adjusted by playing an octave up. Advanced beginner level. There is a very nice glossary of terms, for those not familiar with the art of playing the blues. Note – these are actual arrangements, not to be improvised. There are a few lever changes, and one tune has 3 flats. Chords are provided. To learn more about playing the blues, we recommend “Learn How to Play Blues on your Harp by I. Mac Perry”
