Description
Pieces range from the earliest known extant piece of western music to the ballads and dances of the 17th C. There are country dances, folksongs, ballads and songs and dances from the royal courts and halls of Europe. All can be played on a lap harp with range from C up to G. Chord changes are provided. Also some lyrics, some with translations, and historical notes included. Music is written in a very open and basic manner, allowing the player room to embellish and improvise.
