Description
Jazz Quartet: A group of four original jazz pieces for pedal harp.
Afternoon Love: A sweet jazz piece for pedal harp in Ab. This piece has nice pedal changes, arpeggiated chords and a beautiful melody. Easy to intermediate, the improvisation can be as much as you’d like.
Alone Again: A somber yet beautiful melody. This is going to become one of your favorites to play over and over. Jazzy yet tasteful, beautiful as a solo or would stand up to a band behind it. This melody is like a song without words! Technically not difficult which leaves lots of room for improvisation. In the key of G with pedal work.
Bird Light: Originally written from an unknown bird in North Carolina. The first 3 notes of the melody are the bird’s call. Inspired by its song, this bossa style jazz piece for harp is very easy yet dynamic. End on the dominant chord and let the sound of the bird’s call linger in
the air.
Calypso Serenade: Inspired by Spanish style choral pieces. This cheery and bright sounding jazz piece has lots of chords and pedal changes using different techniques. This piece is just plain fun to play and would be great with a band backing it up. Use for parties, weddings, and other gala events. Complete with lead chord chart.
