Description
From the arranger:
“Japanese Folksongs for the Lap Harp contains 21 Japanese folk songs and lullabies taken from folk songs and Koto literature including the popular “Sakura” transcribed from Koto tablature and adapted for the Lap Harp. The arrangements are appropriate for a small lever harp with 20-22 strings and starting with G below middle C tuned in Eb or C. The songs are very accessible and appropriate for mid-beginner to intermediate players with limited or easy lever changes and endeavor to remain true to the sound of the Koto zither.”
