Description
From the arranger:
“Renaissance Songs for Small Harps in C is a collection of 28 pieces of Renaissance music including madrigals, ballads, dances and occasional music from the 16th and 17th centuries from various European countries. Madrigals and Ballads come from vocal pieces, while occasional music is instrumental theme and variations from vocal songs. The dances are representational of court dances of the period. The arrangements are appropriate for small harps with 20-22 strings (starting with G below middle C) or 26 strings (starting one octave below middle C) and tuned in C without levers. The songs are very accessible and appropriate for mid-beginner to intermediate players.”
