Description
From the composer:
“Two tunes about magical places in Scotland: The Calanais Stones and The Fairy Pools, written to show off the special sound of the electric harp. These were written for the DHC 32 but would work on any harp with a low C and at least 32 strings.”
Dramatic chords, sixteenths with syncopated accents, and LH “stretch” arpeggios feature in these fun pictorial compositions. ALL HARPS, LATE INTERMEDIATE/EARLY ADVANCED.
Recordings of the two pieces (and others by the composer) can be found linked on this spreadsheet.
