Description
Purchased new in 2006, this single owner harp was used as a Therapy Harp for bedside playing. It is excellent in that regard with its light weight (9 lbs.) and strap for moving around freely. The solid Walnut construction gives it a warm, pleasing tone and the full Loveland Levers and a 26 string range down to the C below middle C offers ease in setting to different modes for healing music.
The detachable feet make it work as a free standing floor harp but was a bit too low. Thus, a “Smart Stand” was added to have it at a comfortable height while sitting in a normal chair- great for at home practicing or when joining in ensemble playing.
The harp also has a fully enclosed padded case (not pictured) but the plan was to have this be a travel harp to conferences. Thus, a custom Superlightweight harp case was ordered from Colorado Case Company. That is the rigid case you see in the picture.
The only issue when it came to us was a bit of discrepancy with the levers. Our harp tech (John) has completed a full Lever Regulation and clears it as ready to go.
Rounding out the package is a partial string set (in its own case), a strap and TWO tuning keys.
A sweet set-up for $1400
