Description
A sought after pedal harp transcription of a 16th century dance from a collection of 70 lute pieces called “Le tresor d’Orphee: livre de tablature de luth”. This collection was dedicated to the Prince of Conde to whom Francisque was in service. Ms. Weidensaul’s arrangement is imminently playable on the pedal harp, and of intermediate difficulty. The piece has been recorded by Nancy Allen and Susann McDonald, and gains increasing popularity. We receive calls from harpists and brides all over the country requesting this piece. It is a lovely recital piece, and makes a marvelous wedding processional. It is in the key of F with just a few pedal changes and close to the soundboard special effects to imitate the sound of the lute. INTERMEDIATE PEDAL HARP
